Dr. Sara Love is a graduate of National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM), with a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine, Honors in Research. The research consisted of focusing on methods of treating chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy with natural alternatives to pharmaceuticals. Her case study has been published in the International Journal of Naturopathic Medicine. In addition, she has received extensive education in working with patients with a variety of diseases. Dr. Love uses different forms of treatment for patients including clinical nutrition, exercise, vitamins, and other supplementation as well as prescription medication as indicated. Prior to her medical training, Dr. Love spent over 10 years working in health care as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting, community setting, and in pharmacy technician education.
Dr. Love spends the majority of her research time focusing on how a plant based diet is helpful in treating the majority of chronic care diseases including heart disease and diabetes. With this knowledge, she spends time creating easy recipes that are flavorful so people don't have to feel like they are missing anything. Recently, her family decided to adopt a vegan diet for health reasons, and have never eaten better. Stay tuned for future podcasts and recipes on the website.
In her free time, Dr. Love enjoys running, cross-country skiing, hiking, camping, cooking and spending time with her wonderful family.
